The Store, Oxford – is a 101-room hotel in the building of the historic department store and Oxford institution, Boswells, due to open in spring 2024. The Store, Oxford’s first modern luxury hotel, is coming from the same team who created Paris’s iconic Hotel Dames des Arts. In addition to the destination restaurant, there will be a rooftop bar with breathtaking views, a spa, coffee and cocktail spot, and more.

The hotel’s restaurant, Treadwell, will be ‘untraditionally British’. The Bar at The Store will be a multi-use space and features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the hustle and bustle of Broad Street. The Roof at The Store is an elegant bar and terrace offering 360 views over Oxford and a variety of outdoor seating. The Spa at The Store will be a subterranean retreat with state-of-the-art facilities and treatments from world-renowned British brand, Oskia.

The hotel is surrounded by Edinburgh Castle and Scotland’s National Gallery, making it the perfect place from which to explore the city at your leisure. 

Reminiscent of a chic private members’ club and a celebration of all things Scottish, the new hotel in Edinburgh will house 30 en-suite rooms and suites and offer guests a variety of distinctive curated experiences with an ‘anything, anytime’ service ethos and double the number of staff than guests.

There’s a new Mandarin Oriental hotel in another of London’s chicest neighbourhoods – Mayfair. Opening Spring 2023, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is the latest hotel to join the Group’s acclaimed collection of award-winning properties and will bring a unique taste of urban luxury to the heart of London.

Situated on Hanover Square, the building is designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners with 50 guest rooms and 78 private residences designed by Studio Indigo and the interiors designed by Curiosity, a Tokyo-based studio.

In addition to an urban spa, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair will also feature the first namesake Akira Back restaurant and his ABar Lounge concept in the UK.

As a result of Cadogan’s acquisition of these three redbrick townhouses on Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea, Cadogan will undertake a sensitive restoration.

The Chelsea Townhouse, sister property to The Mayfair Townhouse, will be operated by Iconic Luxury Hotels starting on January 5, 2023, maintaining its 35 luxurious rooms and suites. Many of them overlook a private garden square.
